About

Hello! I’m Chris and I am a Dad!

Welcome fellow dads. My name is Chris and I am a father to 4 great and unique kids. We are a blended family of 6. We have two older ones ages 14 and 12 and two little’s, 5 and 3 years old. I am also divorced from a previous relationship. When I met my current spouse back in 2014, she was also coming out of a divorce. Since we both were in marriages that were unhealthy for different reasons, we came out of them knowing exactly what we wanted and what we didn’t want. Even though she already had two kids prior, she always envisioned of having 2 more. Since we were a little older, time played a factor in determining our life goals with our relationship and the possibility of starting a family.

In the winter of 2019, I was diagnosed with having anxiety and ADHD. While growing up, I had an inkling that something may be off. It wasn’t until recently when I got properly evaluated that I knew the cause of why some of the things I was doing was the cause of having ADHD and anxiety. While navigating this is still new in 2021, I am trying to do the best I can for the people who mean the most in my life.

Besides being a dad with ADHD and anxiety, I also try and take part in some of my many extra hobbies. I play adult softball for my town. I also manage a web design/social media consulting business on the side. I enjoy all things tech and movies. Even though I was raised in CT, I am a die hard St. Louis Cardinals fan. Curious, just ask me why! I also enjoy good beer and attending concerts and trying new food. Overall, I like to try anything once. I am not afraid to admit that I am a huge Justin Timberlake fan as well.

I am by no means an expert in parenting but since becoming a dad starting with two elementary kids and then having 2 of my own, I was able to learn quickly what I needed to do in order to become the father they needed then and for the future. I created my blog in hopes of providing an outlet for other dads out there to learn new things or just enjoy reading what I post. Whether that’s about fatherhood, advice, living with ADHD or anything in between. I hope your able to take away something from it all.
